Terms of Use

1. Agreement

These Terms of Use govern your use of DecorQuote (“we”, “us” or “our”). By downloading or using DecorQuote, you agree to these terms and any mandatory terms applied by the app marketplace through which you obtained the app.

If you do not agree, do not use the app. Mandatory consumer protections in your country remain unaffected.

2. What DecorQuote provides

DecorQuote is a local-first business tool for preparing event estimates, calculating costs and margins, organizing clients and catalog items, capturing a simple signature, and generating PDF proposals.

3. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• checking prices, quantities, costs, tax rates, discounts, totals and event details;
• confirming that your quotes and contractual terms comply with applicable laws;
• obtaining permission to store and use client contact details and signatures;
• protecting your device and keeping appropriate backups;
• reviewing every PDF before sending it to a client;
• using the app only for lawful business purposes.

4. Estimates, taxes and business outcomes

Calculations depend on the information you enter. We do not guarantee that an estimate is profitable, tax-compliant, accepted by a client, or suitable for a particular event. Tax labels and calculations are informational tools; you remain responsible for determining applicable taxes and reporting obligations.

5. Signatures and client acceptance

The signature feature records a simple on-device expression of intent for your workflow. We do not represent it as a qualified, advanced or otherwise legally certified electronic signature. Whether a signature or estimate creates an enforceable agreement depends on your documents, circumstances and applicable law.

6. Purchases and refunds

If DecorQuote is sold through the Apple App Store or another marketplace, payment, billing and eligible refund requests are handled by that marketplace under its terms. DecorQuote does not include a subscription or in-app purchase unless the store listing clearly states otherwise.

7. Your content and privacy

You retain responsibility for the business, client and event information you enter. You grant us no right to use locally stored app content because it is not uploaded to our servers. User-initiated exports and shares are governed by the destination you select. See our Privacy Policy for details.

8. License and acceptable use

Subject to these terms and the applicable marketplace license, we grant you a limited, personal or internal-business, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use DecorQuote on supported devices.

You may not misuse the app, attempt to interfere with its operation, use it to violate another person’s rights, distribute unauthorized copies, or reverse engineer it except where applicable law expressly permits.

9. Availability and updates

We may update, improve, suspend or discontinue features. Device compatibility may change as operating systems and marketplace requirements evolve. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation, but we aim to maintain a reliable product.

10. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DecorQuote is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or non-infringement. This disclaimer does not exclude warranties that cannot legally be excluded.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or business losses, including lost profits, lost opportunities, client disputes or lost data arising from use of DecorQuote. Any liability that cannot be excluded remains limited only to the extent the law permits.

12. Ending use

You may stop using DecorQuote at any time and remove it from your device. Uninstalling the app may permanently delete local data unless you created a usable backup first.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when the product or legal requirements change. Updated terms will show a revised effective date. Where required, material changes will be presented through the app, store listing or another reasonable channel.
